Rio DVD – Review

This week sees the release of Rio on DVD, Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D.

As well as being available as just the DVD, you can also pick up a double Pack which gives you the DVD plus a digital copy for watching on the move, or a Triple play Carnival Party Edition containing Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital Copy.

As an added bonus all the packs also contain a special code which gives you 15 All-New exclusive levels of Angry Birds Rio to play, which work with either the free version of the App or the Paid one.

Rio is the story of Blu, A Blue exotic bird who mistakenly believes he is the last of his kind after having been kidnapped and smuggled to America 15 years ago. When his owner Linda finds out about his female counterpart Jewel living in Rio De Janeiro they set off and try to find her.

The music and vibrant colours of Rio give this film a tremendous energy, it’s so much fun to watch and be a part of. I especially love the black and white bird Pedro who is wonderfully voice by Will.I.Am he’s hilarious. Thomas’s loves the star of the film Blu himself, his favourite part being when he learns to fly.

Rio is a great film for all the family, and a brilliant pick if you’re looking for something to keep the kids busy for the last few days of the holidays or as a stocking filler.

Here as an added treat is a Rio Activity Sheet for you to print out, and links to some online Rio games for your youngsters to play.
